With a mileage of several tens of thousand kilometres having to be covered in each DTM season, Lohrmann also values comfort and in this connection points out not only the driver assistance systems such as the “Lane Keeping Assist” function and the “Proximity Control Assist” with stop-and-go-function, but also the generous spaciousness of the truck’s cab. In addition he praises the vehicle’s handling characteristics and fuel consumption figures.

Mercedes-Benz CharterWay tractor vehicles will be used to transport the vehicles, spare parts and other components for the control station and the pit garages. It takes the logistics specialists from the Mercedes AMG DTM team no less than an hour to load and to unload the trucks.
