Stuttgart – The Mercedes DTM Mercedes AMG C-Coupé driven by Christian Vietoris gets a makeover for the 2014 DTM season. The DTM car driven by last season’s top ranked Mercedes-Benz driver will appear in the colours of Mercedes-Benz Original-Teile on this year’s grid.
Mercedes-Benz Service & Parts will be the new main sponsors of the Mercedes AMG DTM team for the next two years, 2014 and 2015. Vietoris will thus line up for Team Original-Teile AMG Mercedes this season. The Mercedes-Benz Original-Teile logo will appear on the car, on the helmet worn by Vietoris, on his racing overalls and on the team’s car transporters. The Original‑Teile Mercedes AMG C-Coupé will see action for the first time during the season opener at Hockenheimring Baden-Württemberg (May 4th).
Mercedes-Benz Service & Parts are responsible for the global service and parts business both at Mercedes-Benz and at smart cars, as well as taking care of all logistics and operations for Mercedes-Benz, smart cars, Daimler trucks and MB vans worldwide. The business includes the service network with centres throughout the world and the call centre for customer queries in Maastricht. The parts arm of the company encompasses the marketing of both new and used parts, plus the development of innovative parts products and parts logistics
